By fitting a D’Angelo Maxi 50 fifth wheel onto their trailers TNT were able to make their trailers safer to use. The side mounted release handle, which is a feature of the Maxi, Mini and 500 Series fifth wheels, puts the release mechanism within easy reach of the trailer operator. D’Angelo fitted Maxi fifth wheels to all of TNT’s new slideback trailer stock so they could take advantage of this unique design feature and also, of course, the all round durabilty of the design.
